Relaxing day
Today we had a day to relax. We walked to one cache (GC1BHXF - Caching Texel 27 - De Wije Blick). It was just a short walk while the sun was shining.

Caching by bicycle
Today we took our bikes and cycled to the North of the island.
The first cache we passed by was (GC1BH0J - Caching Texel 25 - Sportvliegveld). Is was hidden in a nice old part of a plain, near a airfield.
We logged it at 13:00 as our #61.
The next one was (GC11kk4 - Caching Texel 8 - sluis De Cocksdorp)
This one was a little bit harder to find. We read the hint to quick and were looking downwards ISO the upwards. But when we figured out our mistake it was spotted after all.
We logged this one at 14:15 as our #62.
The third of the day was (GC11JJA - Caching Texel 6 - KNRM De Cocksdorp) on our trip towards the lighthouse we discovered this one.
It was near the rescue station (KNRM) on a difficult spot, but again we discovered it.
We logged this one at 14:40 as our #63.
The boys are waiting patiently to continue with the trip.
And then the final of the day a multi-cache called (GCQA1B - TXL), this one brought us to a beautiful lighthouse.
We had to walk along the beach and later on in dunes.
We managed to figure out the coordinates of the cache and logged it at 15:45 as our #64.
Inside we discovered a TB Uuuudi the cat,
And a coin.

Texel
This afternoon we arrived at Texel for a short holiday. When we arrived at the camping site, we noticed that one cache (GC11FRB - Caching Texel - paal 21) was real close by. Actually on the way to the beach, so we decided to pick this one up, and then let the dogs enjoy the sea and the beach.
We logged it at 16:45 just before it became dark.

Puzzle caches
During the week when there is no time (or daylight) left for visiting caches, I like to solve puzzle caches. I have several solved caches ready waiting, and this afternoon it was time to visit two of them.
For the first puzzle (GC12FEF - Dubbelgangers) we needed to find villages with the same name in the Netherlands and in Belgium, and with the distance between those villages we had to calculate the cache-location. We were able to solve the puzzle in one go, and finding the cache on the calculated location was not to hard.
The cache was hidden in a forest so the doggies could run freely.
We discovered the cache at 14:30.
Inside we found a TB, Swiss Knut, he reached his goal and he wants to go back to Basel. We will try to bring him to a German speaking country.
Next we went for the (GCPV7E - Memory) cache, we had to play a game of memory and that lead to the coordinates. The cache itself was discovered this afternoon at 15:15.
This makes our total caches found 59.

Chapels, chapels
Today we went for two more of the chapel caches that belong to a series of seven.
The first one (GC1DCKC - POK - Steensel)
The chapel was open and the inside was very beautiful.
We had to walk to different point by projecting and it was a short walk.
For the final cache we had to search a little while, since we were searching a couple of meters further, but we managed to discover the cache at 15:10, our #56.
The second one (GC1DCKA - POK - Knegsel), this chapel we could see the inside through the closed gate.
For this cache we had to walk a route with outlined cross-roads.
The cross-road route was a little bit harder than expected, we had some doubts about certain paths. But when we wanted to quit, we discovered that we were on the right track and we could finish the route.

Earth cache in Valkenburg
When we picked up the dogs who stayed the night at friends we realised that an earth cache was very close by where our friends live. We decided to walk there together with their dogs as well.
To bad I forgot to take a picture with all four dogs. But here the picture that we made to log this cache at 14:15 as our third earth cache and our #55 cache in total.
We now have discovered enough earth caches to get the bronze reward.

Safari
We were staying the night at the Safari Park "de Beekse Bergen" and when we were awake on Sunday morning we went for the (GC1A0X8 - Safari) cache.
It was the first cache without the bears (Toby and Brego) so it was a little bit strange to walk in a nice forest without them.
We passed by the gates of the Safari Park and we even spotted some animals.
We passed by Rudolph and his buddy, they came to the fence to see what we were doing. We were wondering whether this would have happened also with the dogs present, we will never know.
At 11:00 sharp we discovered the cache, logged it as our #54.
Inside we discovered a TB that we exchanged with two big TB we had in our possession and that could fit in this big box.
It was the first cache without the bears (Toby and Brego) so it was a little bit strange to walk in a nice forest without them.
