The hunt for Jasmine and Aladdin - Part II

When we returned home yesterday we read an email that Aladdin was dropped in a cache very close to our home, but that someone else already took him afterwards. When I logged the find of Jasmine we received an email of the current holder of him that he would drop Aladdin today in a cache nearby. He didn't give the exact name of the cache but with a hint we thought that we new which one it would be. Our guess was the cache (9GC1GYKP - VELDHOVEN 8 (Historie of geen historie?)), about a 8.5 KM walk if you don't make mistakes. We read the logs and noticed that a lot of cachers had troubles with the compass.

We started the walk and at the first turn we took the wrong direction as well. Our compass clearly spotted the way, but unfortunately it was the not the direction the cache-layers meant. So this first mistake made us walk extra for 1,5 KM.

But since the area was very nice to walk in and the weather was fine, what there to complain about.

The bears enjoyed the walk a lot.

Although they had to walk on the leash here and there. But that is no punishment for them, here a couple of horses needed to pass.

The horses were a little bit intrigued by the dogs.

We found ET on one of the logs laying around.

And after a more than 10 KM walk we found the cache box, we logged at 17:00 and indeed inside we discovered Aladdin that we took with us.

On our way back home we already made a picture of Jasmine and Aladdin united again.
