The hunt for Jasmine and Aladdin - Part I

There are a couple of caches in the Netherlands where you have to use Trackable Items to figure out the coordinates. One of those caches is (GCJVWT - Abu), for this cache you have to find Jasmine and Aladdin. With the numbers on their tags the start coordinates can be calculated. On Saturday we decided to go for Jasmine who was laying around in a cache already for a month or so. This cache (GC10Z9B - Venloon) brought us to a area called "Loonse en Drunense duinen", an area with sand dunes. But first we started out at a camping site, the boys patiently waiting while we try to figure out the starting coordinates.

We passed by these deers, and you can see that we had some nice sunny weather.

Here we arrived at the sand dunes area.

The bears really love this sand and here a small movie that shows this.

One of the way-points that we had to visit to figure out where to go next.

On our way to the next way-point.

At the end we had to search for the cache box that took us a little while but we logged it at 15:10.

And yes inside we discovered Jasmine, so half of our mission succeeded.

The bears patiently waiting on the cache location wondering what our excitement is all about.

Since we had some time left we decided to go for another cache in this area, (GCPAMG - Sprookjesbos), that brought us to a forest where we had to find little containers with fairy tale figures.

We found every fairy tail figure, a giant.

A figure from Arabian Nights.

A witch.

A dwarf.

"Holle bolle gijs"

A donkey.

The grey wolf.

At the end we found the cache box as well at 16:45 we could write our names in the logbook and we headed for home to relax from yet another beautiful day of geocaching.
