Limburg, Belgium Puzzle caches

Having walked a lot yesterday we went for some shorter solved mystery caches in the Belgium province Limburg.
The first was a mystery of the cacher Dagger38 (GC1HGYP - Diabolique). As with many of his mysteries either I immediately got an idea how to solve or I haven't and I have to look at the description over and over again.
This cache fell into the last category. But then suddenly I had an idea and that brought the solution. For this one we had to drive to a location first where we found the coordinates of the stash. Considering the name of the cache I thought the next way of putting the stick to hide the micro was funny.

Here the boys are waiting for me to find the information.

For the final container we had to walk about 1 KM, with a bicycle it would have been more easy but yeah we came by car so then you have to walk a little bit more, no problems, although the legs felt a little stiff after yesterday's stroll.
We found the container at 15:00.

Again the boys patiently awaiting my logging.

And Brego with the container in between his front-legs. It is not mine he is probably thinking.

Next mystery to pick up was (GC144R9 - Geogroetjes!).
For the solution we had to use google to look at certain place around the globe and find the coordinates in this manner. Fun to do.
Finding the container was another thing, we couldn't reach the spot easily.
First in doubt whether the location was correct, but then with the help of the hint we suspected to be at the right spot.

Then seeing the next we knew for sure that we were at the correct spot.

Were able to log this one at 16:00.

Next in line was a mystery where we had to discover the coordinates in a picture by looking in a particular manner (GCRPRC - Magic eye), this took some practising but we managed to solve it.
The cache-box was hidden in a very nice spot, again we had to walk a little to reach it but again it was worth it.

It was at a little bridge and we had go down to find the box. The box didn't show itself immediately but wasn't that hard to find after all.

We were able to log at 16:25 making this our number 225.

The next mystery in line was (GC1P9QP - Schaapschoorbrug : vroeger en nu), for this we had to investigate three old pictures of the same spot and do something with the coordinates at that time. Again a fun puzzle to solve.

At the spot we had to find a number on a sign, we looked an the next picture is what was visible at the spot. Hmmmmmm seemed that the sign we had to find was not one of those after all. A little tricky from the cache owner. But while was calculating the coordinates on a bench, a couple of cachers returned from the cache and gave me a hint.

With this hint we could calculate the correct end coordinates and find the hidden container at 17:05.

And then last of the day a mystery about the car of the cache owner (GC16EHM - Bella), shown was a picture of the engine of that car and we had to figure out the brand and type of the car. I had to as a family member for the solution, but with that information we could find the box at 17:30.

Wintelre

Today we decided to go for one of the caches of the "8-zaligheden" series.
While walking that route we passed by an earth-cache location (GC1JPCB - Groot -en Kleinmeer)

The log picture:

Then the cache we decided to do today (GCWG08 - 8 Zaligheden Wintelre (Revised))

At the start we had to count letters on a plaque, first we looked at this one, but this was the wrong one.

We passed by a special bench called "'t buurtbenkske".

Here the boys are waiting while I look at a way-point to figure out the next stop.

Brego was very tired from the walk, and relaxed whilst I logged the cache.

Logged it after a 12 km walk as number 221 at 17:30

On the way home time for a hit and run cache (GC1ANGA - 't Dekske)
Being number 222, logged at 18:10

A Nano cache

This afternoon I picked up a cache (GC1H9XG - Gennep: de Tongelreep) that I wasn't able to find last friday. It was a nano and the spoiler picture was needed to find the spot.
Here a picture with our mascotte.

And here one that shows the nano in my hand.

Logged as number 219 a 15:15.

Dagger Holmes

For the cache (GC1P7CF - Dagger Holmes and the Thief) the cache-owner made a small movie in silent movie style, looking at the movie you have to discover the start coordinates, I watched the movie over and over but didn't recognize something looking like a coordinate. Then when looking at it for the twentieth time, I saw what I was looking for.
The coordinates were very close to where we live, so therefore we went for it on an evening after dinner.
Once in the forest we spotted a little deer.

We visited 4 way-points before we were able to figure out where the final spot would be. At the calculated spot we first thought that this was the place, I made a picture and what was the case underneath this stump there was no cache-box.

At another stump we did find the cache-box. Logged it at 21:00 as #218.

When returning to the car, it started to get dark.

Limburg, Belgium

This Saturday time for a walk in Belgium, on our way over there time to find the cache from a puzzle cache, that I finally was able to solve (GC17QNK - Meiklejohn & Redwood).
To reach the calculated coordinates we had a short walk to perform, in a very nice forest area.

Logged as #215 at 14:00

On the way back to the car, Toby went into this little stream, but Brego wanted to pass over the fallen tree.

If we didn't need to go further for another walk we probably would have let him try and fall into the water but now we told him to retreat.

Next to the cache we picked for a serious stroll, (GCQ9HJ - De watering)

Lovely weather, water, forest, what's more to want.

A bridge destroyed in the war.

Horses that were more interested in the dogs than the other way around.

Always good to find some water for the dogs to enjoy along the route.

Almost at the final location again more water, the dogs needed the drink because of the high temperature.

With at the end the big cache-container and we logged this one as #216 at 17:15

Then still time to pick-up a mystery cache that I solved (GC1JG5D - paarden)
It was hidden in a small forest area. I made this pictures to show how sometimes you can spot a cache from afar.

This is how that spot looks from a closer view.

Genneper Park

In the south of Eindhoven only about 10 Km from our home a lot of caches are hidden.
On this Friday afternoon I visited the place to uncover some of the caches.

The first cache in this beautiful park was (GC1FZPZ - Genneper Hymne / Deel 4: Accelerando), logged as #211 at 14:10

Inside the cache a hint was hidden for the bonus-cache.

The second cache of today (GC1H9XE - Gennep: de Dommel)
A traditional cache that I logged as #212 at 14:25

The third of today (GC1FVT7 - Genneper Hymne / Deel 3: Andante)
Hidden in a spot I could barely reach, but I succeeded.

Logged as #213 at 14:40

The last cache of today in the park (GC1FCTH - Genneper Hymne / DEEL 1: Adagio)
For this cache I had to walk trough a pool of water and my socks got wet.

But again successful so I could log this one as #214 at 15:15
