Geocaching Camper Event

This weekend we visited our first Geocaching event (GC1KX11 - Kom er eens kijken bij het GeoCaching Weekend). It was an event organized by the cacher Apiedi@k as an initiative from a camper forum he is a member of and we also. The initial purpose was to bring together motor home owners with an interest for geocaching, but the event on Saturday was open to other cachers as well.

On Saturday we went out with a couple of other teams to try to find the 5-star cache (GCZ0ED - ET phone home). And what happened was that we didn't bring our photo camera with us, we left it behind in our motor home. So unfortunately no pictures of this trip here.
We logged it at 17:00, number 149.
The first cache we found with a group, which was fun to do.
We went to find the event-cache on Sunday morning. We were the last to walk the cache and we took all way-point with us, so that the cache-owner was spared an extra walk.

We logged it at 12:40 and this was our number 150.
