Witches and Trolls

This Saturday we had a nephew who wanted to go caching with us. I chose a cache with a nice story. About a gang in the 16th Century (GC1AEA3 Zwarte Kaat en de Hellenendse Bende). The weather wasn't that good, and it rained when we started. But once we arrived in the forest we didn't get wet that much.

We passed by a little chapel, where we had to find some information to be used for the next coordinates.

And this is the tree that "Zwarte Kaat" the gang-head is buried underneath (it is called the Witch Tree).

Here is Toby on top of what is actually a bat-cave. We didn't spot any bats though. probably to much light.

Inside the cache we found a TB called "grandpa"

We decided to try and find two mystery caches that I solved and where not to far away.
The first one (GCX2NT Have a break)

And the second one (GCTWG7 Soupe du Jour).

And then to make the caching adventure complete we decided to go for a night cache as well (GC1CTN4 Trollenland (Nachtcache))
The dive took more time than the actually cache, but it was a great adventure. Unfortunately when we got back, something went wrong with the transport of the picture to the laptop and we lost the picture.

Inside we found a coin that we took with us:
